Posterior blepharitis, also known as seborrheic blepharitis , affects the moist part of the inner eyelid. It is the result of the malfunctioning of the meibomian glands. Dandruff and acne rosacea, a skin disorder, can also cause posterior blepharitis. This is most common type of blepharitis and is mostly seen in elderly people.
